Nereida Quiles-Wasserman

I was the Director of Compliance and Academic Effectiveness in addition to being the Title IX Coordinator at Concordia College NY, responsible for administering and coordinating compliance and academic assessment requirements related to Concordia’s programs, federal and state oversight, various accrediting bodies, and Title IX compliance efforts. Prior to June 2018, I was the Director of Admission for the Accelerated Degree Completion Programs of the Division of Adult Education for ten years and successfully doubled enrollment within the first three years. I also served as a professor in the Business and English departments
I completed a doctorate degree in Executive Leadership at St. John Fisher University while working full-time; earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lehman College-CUNY. My doctoral dissertation focused on the academic success of nontraditional college students. Completing my college education as a nontraditional adult student made it natural for my expertise to be about the adult learner/ nontraditional college student.
