Three Types of Membership:
Professional
An individual, personal membership open to persons whose major commitment is in the area of continuing education. This membership is not transferable. This member receives ACHE publications, has voting rights except on matters of Constitution and Bylaws and may hold office, except President, President-Elect, Vice President, or Executive Vice President. Affiliate
Open to non-higher education associations, organizations, and agencies which have a major commitment to continuing higher education. This member receives ACHE publications, has voting rights except on matters of Constitution and Bylaws and may hold office, except President, President-Elect, Vice President, or Executive Vice President. - Application Fee (one-time) - $125
- Annual Dues - $425
Institutional
Open to institutions of higher learning which have programming or administrative units responsible for continuing higher education activities. The institution must hold current regional accreditation. An institutional member can name as many representatives as it wishes. One of the representatives is designated to cast its vote on matters of the Constitution and Bylaws. All representatives will receive the ACHE publications, will have voting rights except on matters of Constitution and Bylaws, and may hold any office. During the first year of membership, the institution may invite an ACHE colleague for a two-day consulting visit to assist the continuing education unit with general or specific projects. This visit is paid for by ACHE. Institutional Membership Online Application
Application Fee (one-time) - $125
Annual Dues Options:

$425 - This provides for listing four representatives in the annual directory. Additional representatives may be listed for $25 each per year.

$1,000 - ACHE provides an institutional membership option providing membership for up to 40 continuing educators and/or graduate students in adult and continuing education from a single regionally accredited institution.
- with significant CE and/or DL offerings
- with students pursuing advanced degrees relating to adult and continuing education, distance education, and/or literacy
- placing strong emphasis on meeting the educational needs of students pursuing academic coursework, certificates, and degrees and the lifelong learning needs of their communities
This membership option is not applicable to separate multi-campus systems as it is currently defined. |
