Connections and Resources

ACHE and JMH Consulting partner to provide benchmarking data
ACHE and JMH Consulting are partnering to provide kick off the ground-breaking Website Benchmarking Initiative for continuing education.  This ongoing initiative is open to all higher education continuing education departments.

At no cost to your school, all participants will receive a quarterly State of the Industry Report outlining the “typical” or “average” performance of continuing education websites during that period. We have around 30 schools participating so far and we hope we can count on you to add your program's data to the growing pool of intelligence we're building for the industry.

Click here to join the initiative: www.jmhconsulting.com/benchmarking

Take a look at a sample of the Free State of the Industry Report. You can compare these benchmarks to your own website's performance and, in doing so, gain perspective and identify opportunities for improvement.

Also, for a small fee ($975 per year for ACHE members / $1300 for non-members), we can compare your website's performance to these industry benchmarks and to your own site's performance during the previous year. View a sample of this Individualized Benchmarking Report (http://jmhconsulting.com/images/SAMPLE-StateoftheIndustryReport.pdf).

If you'd like your department to join the Website Benchmarking Initiative, you only need to...

  • Click here to complete a brief signup form: http://jmhconsulting.com/benchmarking/website-benchmarking-initiative
  • Add research@jmhconsulting.com as a "read-only" user in your Google Analytics account
CAUCE is seeking presentation abstracts
The CAUCE 2012 conference committee wants your presentation abstracts for CAUCE 2012, “Leaders of the PACK: Leadership & Advocacy in University Continuing Education.” “Leaders of the PACK” speaks to the role that we play as continuing educators as we push and pull our institutions into new ways of teaching, learning, and engaging with our communities.

  • How do you renew and revitalize programs?
  • Have you discovered ways to influence your University?
  • How do you act as an agent of change for your institution?

Visit the CAUCE conference website to get the details. Presentation abstracts are due by Monday, January 16, 2012. Mark your calendar for May 27-30 for CAUCE 2012 in Saskatoon. Questions? Contact Shannon Sofko at shannon.sofko@usask.ca
