Constitutional committees are mandated by the Association's Constitution and can be modified only through constitutional change.
Service committees perform specific functions for the Association or its members (such as awards, research, or publications).
Both service and interest committees can be standing or ad hoc. Board-created committees are reviewed periodically for their current value and are either renewed or discontinued.
